Mr. Edward “Ed” Dale Taylor, age 44, of Anderson, Missouri was called to heaven at 11:54 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Freeman Neosho Hospital in Neosho, Missouri following a sudden illness.
Ed was born in Lindsay, Oklahoma on November 26, 1965, one of 21 children born to Lloyd Estes and Nellie Mae (Simmons) Taylor. He married the love of his life Sheila Elizabeth Lail on April 14, 1986 at Pineville, Missouri. They moved to Anderson, Missouri 15 years ago coming from Oklahoma. Ed worked as a diesel mechanic for Ryder Trucking at Simmons in Southwest City, Missouri for two years. He enjoyed fishing and boating on the lake; especially spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Taylor and a brother, Robert Taylor.
Ed is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Sheila Taylor of the home; three daughters, Tammie Brewer and husband, Jerry of Goodman, Missouri, Elizabeth Taylor and Jose Rojas and Ed’s pride and joy, Jayden Rojas of Rogers, Arkansas, Krystal Taylor of the home; his father, Lloyd Taylor of Lindsay, Oklahoma; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Haskell and Letha Lail of Anderson, Missouri; 19 brothers and sisters, Leland, Gary, Daryl, Joe Paul, Thomas, Larry, Mark, Brad, Cleta, Cleo, Jean, Linda, Rhonda, Barbara, Lynn, Gwen, Sandra, Joan and Mary; along with many other family, friends and neighbors who will dearly miss Ed.
