Frankie "Butch" McGuffey

Frankie “Butch” Acie McGuffey, age 66, of Rocky Comfort, Missouri was called to heaven with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Missouri.

Butch was born in Stella, Missouri on July 28, 1943 to the late Kenneth and Pearl (Wilson) McGuffey. He lived all of his life in the Bethpage, Longview and Rocky Comfort area. Butch owned and operated carnival concessions and rides for several years. He also worked as a truck driver and farmer. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time on the farm with his cattle.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 27 years Pat Love McGuffey who passed away in December of 1993; his wife, Laura Lee Hughes McGuffey in August of 2007; a brother, Billy J. McGuffey and a sister, Ada McGuffey.

Butch is survived by his two daughters, Shelli Francisco and husband, Rick of Rocky Comfort, Missouri and Kelli Brown and husband, Bobby of Wheaton, Missouri; a brother, Ken McGuffey and wife, Carolyn of Stella, Missouri; a sister, Betty Till of Stella, Missouri; three grandchildren, Matthew Francisco, Dalton Brown, Kylie Brown; two step grandchildren, Josh Brown and Samantha Brown; along with many other family, friends and neighbors who will dearly miss Butch.
